Starting an online business with little or no experience can be very daunting.
An online business newbie has a maze of infomation right in front of them but few know how to start an online business let alone how to start marketing an online business.
I just got back from a fabulous week skiing in the french alps where I learnt to ski for the first time and I loved it.
What’s this got to do with starting an online business?
Everything!
I sat down and watched instructors teaching kids as young as two and adults in their twilight years and the main thing I noticed was how the kids just listened and did exactly what the instructor told them to do. If he said go straight they did. Turn corners or stop and they did.
Now, another thing is they put complete trust in this person to make sure they were not hurt and kept safe. The older people all seemed to think he was out to hurt them or confuse them in some way.
Watching older people learning how to ski was a lot different to how the kids learnt. You see, they had this preconcieved idea that skiing was going to be hard and that they were going to fall over and get painful injuries to last a week or worse, broken bones.
You will be glad to know I survived the week and will return many times.
BUT!
I then though about how this is true in all things new that we try out. Take Internet Marketing or starting an online business for example. I get emails all the time about how hard it is to get the right information or how hard it is to find someone who knows how but is not so good at teaching.
You need a great instructor who has the experience and knowledge so you don’t make the little mistakes that will turn into very big money wasting exercises. Get rich junk that you will fail with.
Now, I am exprienced in starting an online business and I have taught many to go on and make money the right way. Starting a business needs the right foundations and the right formula to succeed. If you don’t you will fall flat on your face and in most cases not get up again. You will just give up and say it’s all too hard.
I have a seminar coming up on the 26th of April at which I will be teaching 25 people how to start an online business. Once this is day is finished I will be sharing the comments and testimonials with everyone to show you how credibility in your market place is essential.
